Yaeo Ookubo
With her humorous figures, Ms. Okubo's art has gained a broad range of fans from children to adults. She works in print media but her three dimensional Illustrations vibrantly animate the two dimensional realm. Casting with Styrofoam and molding in paper clay she builds the foundations of her characters, and then adds colors in acrylic on the figures to provide an eye-catching finish.
