Hiroshi Yoshii
Mr. Yoshii is one of the most acclaimed digital artists in Japan. He freelances as an illustrator and has created various characters for major TV programs, commercials, corporate websites, campaigns and events. Yoshii specializes in crystallizing characters for his clients' needs with little direction. "My three-dimensional characters are created by a harmonious combination of beauty, ludicrousness, and humor." In 2006, Yoshii began the tedious process of hand-making vinyl figures. Specialty shops in Japan sell out of his limited edition figures quicker than he can make them. He also supplied 10 figures to Pixologic, Inc. for use as corporate/promotional gifts. Yoshii is currently creating a series of figures for larger scale production.
